CONFERENCE PROGRAM

OCTOBER 29 SATURDAY

The Ewha Music Research Institute (EMRI) is holding an international conference on diverse modes of creating and curating digital music archives. EMRI has constructed the world’s largest databases of music education materials and composers of modern East Asia, and is currently going beyond creating databases to curating sources in an interactive, multimedia framework. This timely conference will consider issues in creating and curating digital music archives, exploring the possibilities of new computational tools as well as the challenges of integrating humanistic inquiry with computation.
